Some good looking stocks based on our metrics:
ABT - in the near date with a nice dividend capture
CAG - at the far date with a dividend capture and low RVI
CL - in the near date just missing the dividend and a low RVI
COP - at the far date capturing the dividend - the RVI is high but the sector has been brutalized and looks to be recovering - we like the sector and a quick value play while the P/E's are low
CPO looks good as long as the harvest reports show weakness - The SSR's are great as are the Days earnings but the RVI's are high.
GIS - WOW, the near date Days earnings are fabulous even though we missed the dividend last week, RVI's look good as do the P/E's. Far dated option isn't too bad either!
GPC - Both dates look very good to good with Days earnings at 0.9% and 0.6% respectively. High RVI's are a concern but the we like the sector.
INTC - Both dates look very good to good with Days earnings at 0.9% and 0.6% respectively. Low RVI's are good, the dividend yield is 3.3%, paying on 11/02..... what's not to like?
MMM - A favorite and core holding, the far date pays well with a SSR of 2.5%. Although the RVI's are high, this is a bedrock stock.
PBI - I have a hard time with this company but the far dated options pay very well and capture their share of the 6.9% dividend. The Days earnings is 0.8%, the RVI's are low and the SSR is high. My only question is how do they keep earning money?
PG - A favorite and core holding, the near and far date pays well with a SSR of 1.8% and 3.1% respectively. Although the RVI's are somewhat high, the price range is wide.... this is a bedrock stock.
Q - Not sure why we included this one as the overall profile is awful for our strategy given the metrics.
RRD - The far date looks good and captures the dividend, the RVI's are low and the SSR is 3.1%.
T - Brings home clarity in our strategy as long as all we hear is pin droppings not earning. The SSR's are good and the near date connects with us with a Days earnings of 0.18%. We are cautious on telecoms and keep our positions short dated and in the money.
VZ - Their profile is not as attractive as T but still not bad.
XOM - The far date is attractive with a dividend capture, Days return of 0.06% and a SSR of 2.4%. RVI's are lowish (if that is a word) and again this is a sector we like.
KMP - The far dated captures the dividend, has a Days earnings of 0.06% and SSR of 2.4%. The RVI's are high but this is another sector we like.
